Cartoon Network Returns Toya Delazy In "The Powerpuff Girls" To African Screens
Cartoon Network Africa is making plans to offer viewers with an all-new episode of kids favourite, "The Powerpuff Girls", in June 2018.
South African pop sensation, Toya Delazy, in her ongoing collaboration with Cartoon Network, will again voice out in the fourth Powerpuff Girl for this once-off special episode for the African continent.
This new Bliss episode will be broadcast because of the success of The Powerpuff Girls “Power of Four” special, that was aired in September 2017, which recorded viewership figures of 210,000 that is between the ages of four and 14.
According to Toya, she said: “I am thrilled to be trusted with this awesome mission one more time to better build on the relationship I have developed with Cartoon Network, the leading kids’ channel in South Africa. We have some super cool and exciting projects that kids will love, which I can’t talk about yet. The focus of these projects is to shine the spotlight on young girls across the continent of Africa. It promises to be very impactful and game-changing – watch this space!”
The comeback of The Powerpuff Girls is for them to save the world before bedtime in the third season of the reimagined, original and all-new animated comedy series. The latest of the animated series of The Powerpuff Girls, from Cartoon Network Studios, will premiere on screens in different parts of the continent from Saturday, 30 June.
