Zimbabwe: Online Registration Portal Opens For Big Sister Africa
Big Sister Africa is a reality TV show modelled after the famous “Big Brother Africa” show where participants, both male and female from all around African participate for a grand prize of $100 000.
Big Sister Africa is organised by South Africa’s Gallery Naomi and has opened its online registration portal for Zimbabweans interested in participating in the reality show which will begin September 2.
With over 10 African countries participating in the BSA reality TV show, auditions for Zimbabwe are scheduled for April 27, 28 and 29 at the Harare Agricultural Showgrounds and in Bulawayo at the International Exhibition Centre from June 29 to July 1.
The producers of the reality show, Neon Diamond, said in a statement: “Our goal is to identify unique talents, empower as many artists as possible across Africa through the exposure they need and employment creation. Neon Diamond over the years has strategically engaged several partners in media, television, tourism and academic institutions to build a platform that would serve as a bridge between young people and their desired world of careers.
Neon Diamond also said; "The essence of the platform is not only to create opportunities for the young ones, but to also build the motivation, skills, and confidence of the youths in the continent. The idea of the contents that we produce is to help these young adults make a positive impact in their communities and at the same time imbibing in them the capabilities critical for success in life today.
