Kwese Agrees To Provide TV Content To Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC)
The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) has entered into a content services arrangement with Kwese TV. The deal will see the Namibian public service provider tapping into Kwese TV for some music and sports programmes.
The agreement, concluded earlier this week in Windhoek, Namibia is at the time when the NBC is also launching new 24-hour music channel and dedicated sports TV channels.
Commenting on the arrangement, Mr Stanley Similo, NBC's Director General, said that the aim was to provide Namibians with high-quality local and international content. Kwese Group's CEO, Mr Joseph Hundah stated that their goal is to bring the best of programming that is affordable to viewers across Africa.
