#CommunityBroadcastingAfrica: Adequate Resources For Community Broadcasting In Africa

As part of the ongoing Industry Programme on Strengthening Community Radio Broadcasting in Africa, Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), in collaboration with 2Gwana Media, has announced the second in the series #CommunityBroadcastingAfrica Online Forum.  Designed to address critical issues and difficulties faced by community broadcasters across Africa, the planned Online Forum on the topic "How To Adequately Resource Community Broadcasting In Africa" is scheduled to occur virtually on Thursday 24th June 2021 from 10h00 GMT.

In addressing the vision on this vital topic, Mr Benjamin Pius, BMA's Publisher and convener of the Industry Forum said that the online forum would provide industry stakeholders with insight on the immeasurable impact that community broadcasting holds in ensuring vital information is available in secluded areas. The Industry Forum will also highlight various challenges ranging from human resources to conditions created by public policies.

Presenters and speakers in the forum will comprise senior position holders from various media and broadcasting industry organisations. In partnership with 2Gwana Media, Broadcast Media Africa invites all interested participants to save the date for attending this important forum.
