Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) is pleased to announce that the Industry Programme on Community Radio Broadcasting in Africa is gathering pace with the upcoming convening of industry professionals and stakeholders to a one-day virtual forum on Effective Regulatory Framework for Community Radio Broadcasting.
The industry forum, presented in collaboration with our programme partner 2Gwana Media would seek answers to crucial burning questions such as:
- What are the critical regulatory obligations shaping community radio broadcasting in Africa?
- Current licensing conditions - do they help or hinder the industry’s development?
- What are the different forms of revenue generation within the community radio space?
- What roles can regulators play to help foster a sustainable funding environment for community radio broadcasters in Africa?
