South Africa: Melanie Rambally Appointed As CFO Of Sentech

Sentech, the leading connectivity and signal distributor organisation for the broadcasting and telecommunications sector in South Africa, now has a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Melanie Rambally has been appointed into the post, pending all relevant clearances and qualifications verifications.
Ms Rambally will be taking over from Siphamandla Mthethwa, who had served as the  CFO for Sentech since December 2016 and is now with the Airports Company South Africa as their Chief Financial Officer.
According to her public profile, the new Sentech's CFO is a chartered accountant and has been the CFO at Durban International Convention Centre for over seven years.
Sentech is one of the critical South African state-owned enterprises and is crucial to facilitating the signal distribution and connectivity need of strategic sectors in the country. It currently provides transmission services to major broadcasters such as the SABC and eTV and a plethora of private and community TV and radio broadcasters. The semi-public agency is under the purvey of the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies.
