Leadership Change At Satellite Company 'Yahsat' - As CEO Is Replaced
The satellite operator company, Yahsat, has confirmed that their long-standing chief executive officer, Masood Mahmood, will step down at the end of April 2021 and succeeded by Mr Ali Al Hashemi currently work as the general manager of Yahsat Government Solutions. By the time the current CEO will be replaced, Mr Mahmood would have been at the helm of Yahsat for nine years.
The statement from Yahsat hailed Ali Al Hashemi's appointment as the new CEO, saying that it is a "direct result of Yahsat's long-term succession planning focus that is designed to ensure it continues to maintain its momentum on the strategic vision and objectives."
Mr Masood Mahmood is said to be still involved with Yahsat as part of the board of advisors working with the company's executive to help "further the strategic objectives of Yahsat as it embarks to the next stage of its growth and development.
To his new role, Masood Mahmood said: "I am honoured to be able to continue to support the company as a member of the board actively, and am confident that Yahsat will further strengthen its place as a global leader in the satellite industry."
