SES Offers HD+ TV In Ghana To Satisfy Picture Quality Demand
According to SES HD+ Ghana's director, Theodore Asampong, there is a "high demand for superior picture quality among television viewers in Ghana", and SES is primed and ready to tap into this alongside offering multi-channel TV services.
It is to this end that SES has launched its HD+ TV in Ghana, West Africa. The service promise to bring 'significantly improved HD signal (1600 x 900 pixels)' to consumers, although, for access, consumers still have to acquire another decoder box.
Nevertheless, tAsampong says that once the decoder is in place, viewers in Ghana can access more than 100 free-to-air (FTA) channels, including up to 11 HD+ channels from "Adom TV, Joy Prime, GTV, UTV, Joy News, GhOne, Metro TV, TVXYZ, Citi TV, Angel TV and OneHD."
"It is noteworthy that local entertainment still leads in Ghana in terms of content, and the fact that HD+ brings the top 12 local stations to Ghanaians viewers in high definition will be truly revolutionary. We are confident that the introduction of HD+ in Ghana will transform the way Ghanaians view content," says Asampong.
