Liquid Telecom Is Seeking Business Expansion Into Europe And America
Liquid Telecom, the pan-Africa telecommunications, owner by multi-millionaire Strive Masiyiwa, is reportedly working on entering the European and US telecoms space. And it is doing this by entering into a strategic partnership Zayo - a global communications infrastructure services provider.
In a statement, the Liquid Telecom's Group CEO, Mr Nic Rudnick said that "We have long been committed to building Africa's digital future, and know that for African companies to be competitive, they have to be a part of the global digital economy. This strategic partnership will assist many of our African customers who are looking to extend into operations beyond Africa, as well as those customers who already have operations in Europe and the US."
Rudnick reiterated that "customers are at the very core of Liquid Telecom operations" and that "the partnership with Zayo is the first of many" as the company endeavours to become a world-class digital services provider."
Jesper Aagaard, managing director of Europe at Zayo, commented that "We are excited to bring Zayo's global reach to Africa, enabling access into key locations in North America and Europe."
