TNT Channel From Warner Media To Go On StartTimes Across Sub-Saharan Africa
Warner Media's TNT channel will launch across Africa's payTV company - StartTimes, it has been announced. According to the statement, the TNT channel will be put on the StarTimes DTT Basic Bouquet as well as Smart Bouquet on its DTH platform.
StarTimes subscribers in African countries such as Uganda, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia are in line to see a slew of classic movies and original TNT production once the TNT channel is settled to the StarTimes platforms.
As part of the launch, due in September 2020, TNT says it has lined up the première of some original movies and films including: ", Remember the Titans, Déjà vu, The Hurricane and Fallen; The Transporter, National Treasure, Karate Kid, and Free Willy among others.
Warner Media executives say they believe that the new TNT deal with StarTimes will provide viewers across sub-Saharan Africa with premium content that is simply not available anywhere else.
