Suveer Ramdhani, SEACOM's Chief Strategy Officer Quits!
Broadband infrastructure company SEACOM has announced the resignation of its erstwhile chief strategy officer, Mr Suveer Ramdani. Ramdani has been in the employ of the company since 2009.
A statement from the company statement says that "Suveer has been a cornerstone of our business, driving growth strategies for new products and services, new markets and transformative acquisition. "His efforts have led SEACOM from a project into a diversified and sustainable telco."
Ramdani commenting on his exit thanks all members of the SEACOM's family where he has also been responsible for overseeing its market development including mergers and acquisition. He said" I am sincerely grateful to SEACOM's shareholders, staff and customers for these many exciting years in which we, together, drove increased access to broadband Internet in Africa. The social benefit from our efforts has made the years at SEACOM more than worthwhile."
SEACOM has recently acquired FibreCo in South Africa, enabling it to have a network linking many South Africa cities to the SEACOM's submarine cables.
