Production Of SABC2 Muvhango Stopped For Fear Of Coronavirus Spread
According to reporting by 'TV with Thinus', the production set for the SABC2 Muvhango show has been shuttered to forestall possible Covid 19 spread among cast and crew.
South Africa has in place rigorous conditions for on-set health management of production facilities since easing the lock-down that allowed members of the creative industry to go back to work.
The series producer for Muvhango, Herbert Hadebe, reiterated that as "the safety of all staff and crew is top priority… it was necessary to halt production to reduce any risk of Covid-19 exposure.
The set is now undergoing a deep-clean process while cast and crew are self-isolating. There is not going to be any interruptions to SABC2 programming as a result because it will continue to run pre-recorded shows.
