Production Of M-Net Telenovela "The River" Stopped Due To Covid-19 Positive Test

Tshedza Pictures, the producers of the Telenovela "The River" has said it is shuttering the set of the show for deep decontamination cleaning after unnamed member tested positive for Covid-19.

The River's production activities just got started back again after weeks of government-imposed lock-down in South Africa to help fight the Coronavirus contagion.

According to Tshedza Phathu Makwarela, once a member of cast-and-crew tested positive to Covid-19, all necessary health guidelines and protocols was activated.

Nomsa Philiso, MNet's channel director for local entertainment, agreed. MNet believed that the production set has implemented all necessary health and safety precautions for its cast and crew, and would like to continue to offer its support to the production team.
