Uganda Celebrates Launch Of New Carrier-Neutral Data Centre

Raxio data centre has set the Uganda ICT industry on an improved path with the launch of its new data centre.

According to Mr James Byaruhanga, General Manager of Raxio Data Centre, the new data centre will boost the competitive environment in the country, with a strong focus on additional features for redundancy and diversity for multiple fibre operators.

Hailing the connectivity milestone achieve in Uganda, Raxio Data Centre believes that its new platform will have higher uptime, and it has already signed-up with nine local data carriers to us the carrier-neutral facility.

These include Bandwidth and Cloud Services Group (BCS Group), Africell Uganda Limited, Airtel Uganda, Liquid Telecom, Csquared, MTN Uganda, National Information Technology Authority-Uganda (NITA-U), Uganda Telecom Limited (UTL) and Roke Telkom.
