South Africa: Cell C Sees Great Success In MTN Roaming Deal
The South African telco, Cell C, has been under a lot of strain this past year, but the company revealed that it had seen significant success in the second half of 2019.
After posting a $565-million loss and being forced to implement an intense turnaround strategy, it is now making steps towards recovery.
Cell C told MyBroadband that it is proud of the initiatives it launched over the past year, as well as the added success of inking an extended roaming deal with MTN.
Cell C said that the implementation of the expanded roaming deal was its most significant success in 2019.
In addition to this progress, Cell C said that it also values the awards that it received over the past year, as well as its many social responsibility initiatives.
The company said that its win at the Ask Afrika Orange Index for the Overall Telecoms Industry Award for the second consecutive year was a testament to the firm’s commitment to put its customers first.
Additionally, the company also won a few Loerie awards for its marketing campaigns.
