Vodacom’s Video Play Rolls Out Educational Content On-Demand

Vodacom’s video on demand platform Video Play has rolled out a substantial selection of educational content for children and young adults ranging from science, mathematics and coding, in fun and easy to understand formats that engage kids across the age spectrum.

Vodacom’s Digital and Fixed Services Officer, Zunaid Mahomed said that the Fourth Industrial Revolution would present a lot of opportunities for job creation and an all-round better society for all, but this means that the way that we educate the kids and what we teach them needs to change.

He said that the fun and educational content on Video Play is not aimed only at preparing the youth for the changes that 4IR will bring, but would also be accessible to all because anyone with a smartphone can use the platform.

Video Play’s offering of educational youth content includes short animations, question and answer shows presented by kids for kids, children’s documentaries, Da Vinci kids, which uses comedy and imagination to deliver excellent educational lessons, as well as a digital playroom for the younger children filled with exciting stories.

This educational content is available as part of the Family & Kids bundle on Video Play.
