Spotify Rolls Out Disney Music Hub In South Africa

Spotify has launched the new Disney Music Hub in the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland and Australia.

Through the Disney Music Hub Spotify, users can now enjoy all the music from Disney movies and TV shows.

The Hub’s streaming playlists will feature songs varying from classics such as The Lion King to the more recent favourites like Frozen, Marvel Movie soundtracks and Star Wars. Furthermore, the Hub will offer other options for music that suits different moods or moments.

The Vice President Sales & Digital of DMG, Karen Lieberman commented on the new development saying that the Disney Music Group had found a loyal base of listeners on Spotify and that DMG is thrilled to expand its brand with this rollout of the Disney Hub.

Spotify’s Global Head of Consumer & Product Marketing, June Sauvaget, said that by working together with Disney, Spotify has helped put together a fantastic hub of songs, soundtracks and playlists that can easily be accessed by Disney fans of all ages.

Sauvaget explained that with a simple search, Spotify app users would be able to listen to all of their Disney favourites – from Star Wars to The Lion King. 
She added that Spotify is excited to kick off this collaboration and bring this great experience to its listeners.

The Disney Music Hub will be continually updated on Spotify with additional content.
