New Streaming Service, Set To Be The 'Netflix Of South Africa'

South African radio personality, Tbo Touch is ready to shake up the game later this month with the launch of his streaming services which he has dubbed "the Netflix of South Africa".

In a recent interview, Touch said that THD24 would go live on July 28 and feature many hours of exciting local content.
The radio host said that his streaming service would work similar to Netflix and offer current content and eight brand new shows on video. He added that all the content is local but unheard of.

The service will be free of charge and will be accessible through the website,, or on the mobile app that is soon to be launched.

Although Touch did not divulge too much information around what shows would be available, he did confirm that Enhle Mbali, one of South Africa's favourite TV personalities, would be hosting her own show on the platform, called Sincerely Yours.

Touch said that the show would feature international guests and top local guests opening up about inspirations and their lives, but the conversation would take place in bed.

Tbo Touch has already ventured from radio into TV, with his recently rolled out Touch HD platform collaborating with Soweto TV to air its content on the platform.
