The Southern African Communications Association (SACIA) Supports Industry Forum On Content Management For Digital Broadcasters
The Southern African Communications Association (SACIA) has confirmed that it will be a collaborating partner at the forthcoming Industry Forum on Content Management For Digital Broadcast Media.
The industry Forum, which will take place on the 25th – 28th June 2019 at the BON Hotel And Suites in Swakopmund, Namibia is being hosted by the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and is aimed at offering new understanding of how Africa’s media and broadcasting sector can acquire, develop, distribute, regulate and monetise content in a digital ecosystem.
By partnering with Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) and the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA) at this Forum, SACIA is joining other leading industry organisations expected at the Forum such as: Multichoice, AFP, Trinity Broadcasting Namibia, FPB South Africa, IASA, Namibia Film Commission, Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN), as well as the CEOs, DGs and Directors of Programmes from across broadcasting organisations in Angola, Botswana, the DRC, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
According to the Forum’s conveners - Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) and Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA) - SACIA will add value around the various strategies that can be put in place to plan for the efficient delivery of TV Content within the current communications ecosystem.
