Showmax Offers Two-Month Free Trial To DStv’s Compact Subscribers

The video-on-demand (VoD) service, Showmax, has declared that it has given DStv Compact and Compact Plus subscribers a free two-month trial to access its service and enjoy its marvellous content offering.

The VoD service stated that starting from 7 February up until 7 April, DStv Compact and Compact Plus subscribers who decide to add Showmax to their DStv bill will be gifted with a two-month-long no-cost period in order to test-drive the streaming service and see if they want to stay on.

A Showmax subscription is currently $6.86 (R99) per month. The two-month no-cost test-drive is now available to all DStv Compact and Compact Plus subscribers.

The subscribers have the option to cancel the Showmax free test drive at any time and are not forced to stay on if they decide that they do not want to. Once the two-month period is over, the Compact and Compact Plus subscribers will be charged the discounted fee of $3.39 (R49) per month.

Showmax is also available through apps for smart TVs, media players, gaming consoles, Apple TV, tablets, smartphones, the DStv Explora decoder, and through web browsers for desktop computers and laptops. Movies and shows can also be downloaded to tablets and smartphones and for offline viewing.
