M-Net To Add Nigerian Drama series, Halita, To Africa Magic Family
M-Net has introduced a brand new weekday drama series, Halita. The fast-paced drama will air on Africa Magic Family (DStv 154) as from Monday 4 February, and revolves around a Northern Nigeria woman forced to flee from her village and find herself a new life in the city.
The role of Halita is played by the Nigerian actress Chisom Gabriella. It tells the tale of a young who was a woman forced to escape from her evil boyfriend, only to face the excitement, drama and intrigue of a whole new life in the city with an influential and powerful family.
M-Net’s Africa Magic Channel Director, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu said that Halita proves yet again that M-Net continues to stay committed to telling the best stories that are coming from Africa to an African audience.
He added that this is a story about fortune, family and fate and that it is guaranteed to deliver the entertaining, exciting content that the Africa Magic channels have become renowned for.
Mba-Uzoukwu declared that the production values are of high quality, and that the performances would be worthy of critical acclaim.
M-Net said that lovers of great African entertainment content would be very impressed with this latest addition to Africa Magic’s lineup.
The Halita cast includes Eddy Madaki, Boma Elamiena and Ummi Baba Ahmed.
