9Mobile Nigeria Welcomes On Board New Chief Financial Officer
In Nigeria the Telecommunications firm, 9mobile has announced the addition of Mr Phillips Oki as its newly appointed Chief Financial Officer.
Stephanie Beuvelet, 9mobile's Acting Managing Director, disclosed this in an issued statement in Lagos on Monday 21 January 2019.
The statement revealed that Oki had already resumed duty.
Beuvelet said that the new Chief Financial Officer would bring over two decades of work experience in areas across management, financial accounting, audit, project and business management, budgeting and financial reporting. The Acting Managing Director added that Oki offers a blend of invaluable insights and working knowledge in the field of finance.
Beuvelet noted that Oki had worked in a number of companies like Price Water Coopers (PWC), KPMG Nigeria, Royal Merchant Bank, Babcock University, Pepsico International and TBIC Nigeria Ltd.
The statement added that Oki was a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (FCA), an economist and also a project manager, who had delivered projects at multi-disciplinary entities like Adam Smith International, United Kingdom, among many others.
He said that the senior management team were thrilled to welcome Oki on board and all were sure that his experience would be beneficial when it came to providing strategic financial leadership for the business.
Beuvelet closed off the statement by declaring that 9mobile was confident that Oki would leverage his wealth of experience to motivate the finance team to deliver on their mandate.
