Kwese TV Introduces Free Bouquet
Kwesé TV has been making big strides in the pay-TV industry and is said to be the most rapidly growing broadcast network on the continent. The popular pay-TV platform is available in all English speaking countries in sub-Saharan African through its selection of products, namely Kwesé Play, Kwesé Free Sports and Kwesé TV.
Kwese just recently announced the new addition of the Kwesé Free bouquet. The always-on bouquet will offer at least five channels that are usually only available exclusively to its pay TV subscription customers.
The bouquet will offer the Kwesé Free Sports Channel which features live sports games from the NBA and the English Premier League. There will also be news, a religious channel and general entertainment programmes, all for free, as long as the viewer already has a Kwesé decoder.
National Free To Air Channels will also be offered as part of the free access plan.
Joseph Hundah, Econet Media’s President and Group CEO said that Kwese believes that once a customer has purchased a decoder, it belongs to them and that Kwese had decided that instead of switching subscribers off entirely if they haven’t paid for a subscription, they will instead offer viewers the free bouquet.
Hundah added that this is a simple concept that will have subscribers getting value out of their decoders even in times where they haven’t paid their monthly subscription fee.
In conclusion, the CEO declared that this was a fantastic offer from Kwese. He said that he hoped that a lot of people would now buy the Kwese Decoder and ditch any other decoders that they might have already had because of this Free bouquet offer.
For Zimbabweans, ZTV will be a part of the free channels that are provided on the Kwese Free Bouquet.
