StarTimes Unveils DTT platform In Daura, Nigeria

The digital television network company StarTimes has announced the unveiling of its DTT platform in Daura, Katsina State. The launch of DTT decoder was a noteworthy event at the historical centre of Northern Nigeria.

Mr Maxwell Loko, the representative of the Director-General of NTA says NTA StarTimes is available in about 80 cities in Nigeria including Daura, the historical cradle of the North.

He further states that "at a reasonable price, the people of Daura can enjoy digital life via numerous TV stations like NTA Hausa, Farin Wata TV, Dadin Kowa, Liberty TV".

NTA parliament, a platform that allows the people interact with their council representatives is available as well as other channels of interest like Indian movie entertainment channel.

Mohammad Alhaji Nanu, the Representative of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) voiced his delight that the initiative will allow the people of Daura access to global entertainment and news.
