Scoop Network To Reach Africans With Localised Contents On Kwesé TV
Programming contents from the new Scoop Network would include music, fashion, light entertainment magazines, celebrity news, and movie. As an accurate representation of the African continent, the channel will engage their viewers with fully localised contents and voice-overs done by Africans, an entertainment news show that is locally produced on a daily basis as well as other local productions.
The latest channel, which is already available into different viewers around the world, will join the Kwesé TV family with entertainment line-ups and exclusive feed produced by Scoop Network's dedicated editorial team from Dutch Indie FCCE based in Nairobi, Kenya for English speaking African viewers.
According to CEO of FCCE, Justus A. G. Verkerk: “This is the first fully localised feed of Scoop Network which gives us the confidence that the local audience will enjoy the unique mix of national and international content that we are offering them. We are glad to be part of Kwese's team especially in the 18 African countries that our contents will reach. We are ready, and we believe that the new editorial team in the FCCE Nairobi office, our studio facilities, local crews and local presenters and reporters will satisfy the taste of the African people.”
Verkerk added: "All over the world cable and mobile operators all looking for new and exclusive options and we have come up with something exclusive - The talent search campaign. The Talent Seach Campaign is an idea that is really in the DNA of our company; which offers the opportunity for young people from the continent to showcase their talent and rise to the top. We hope some of these talents can use this platform and catapult their career to international scenes."
“Kwesé prides in its ability to offer exclusive cutting-edge entertainment programming for our dynamic young audiences, and we are excited that Scoop Network which is enjoyed by many across the globe, would be the first TV network to introduce it's content to the African market through us,” said Joseph Hundah, Econet Media President and Group CEO.
