Kwese, SuperSport, SABC, StarTimes All Bag Broadcasting Rights From FIFA

The announcement made by FIFA regarding broadcasting rights for the FIFA tournaments (including the Confederation Cup and 2018 World Cup) reveals the following:

• Kwese Sports (Econet Media) has broadcast rights on Pay TV and Free-to-air across all African territories (sub-Saharan) - minus South Africa
• Multichoice Supersport has Pay-TV broadcast rights across all African territories (sub-Saharan)
• SABC has Free-to-air broadcast rights for South Africa only
• Startimes has Pay-TV broadcast rights across all African territories (sub-Saharan) minus South Africa
• CANAL+ can broadcast on Pay-TV platforms across all African territories (sub-Sahara) but not in South Africa and Nigeria

A statement from FIFA said they are delighted and look forward to working together with partners in the region, to allow millions of fans enjoy FIFA’s shows across a multitude of platforms.
