BMA To Survey The State-Of-Play Of Africa’s OTT Streaming And On-Demand Content Industry
The industry information and intelligence platform, Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), has announced that as part of its “OTT Content Streaming In Africa programme” it is launching an industry-wide survey on the “State of Play” of Africa’s OTT Streaming And On-Demand Content Industry.
The industry survey will seek to track and record the opinions of current executives and practitioners on the factors and issues that continue to shape the success - or failure - of the OTT Content Streaming phenomenon on the Continent.
The overarching goal of the first edition of this endeavour (we hope it would be an annual activity) is to take a snapshot of current dynamics and perhaps gain insight to help deal with the rapidly-changing broadcast media landscape fronted by content streaming!
According to the Publisher of Broadcast Media Africa - Mr Benjamin Pius - “The planned Industry Survey would serve as an informative eye-opener for industry stakeholders, as it would provide clear indications on the market-view of OTT Streaming and Content On Demand In Africa.”
One of the survey outcomes will be in the form of an executive briefing document that would be shared on the BMA online platform and will be made accessible to BMA Network members.
