Liberia: Kwesé Launches TV Services In Partnership With Orange

Econet Media's Kwesé TV will be entering the Liberian through its distribution deal with telecoms provider, Orange Liberia, says reliable industry reports.

According to Kwesé's Group Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Hundah: “With the launch of our pay-TV service last year, Kwesé is Africa's fastest growing media brand, offering a diversified media business that includes  Kwesé Free Sports - Africa’s largest FTA channel, mobile services, digital and a pay-TV satellite network. With a strong presence across the continent, we believe that Kwesé has a legitimate claim to the title of Africa’s most exciting and innovative broadcaster".

Chief Executive Officer for Raising Africa Media Inc., the Local Partner for Kwesé TV in Liberia Gerald Sherman said: “Liberians can now have access to premium quality programs and content at a pocket-friendly rate as we take media and entertainment from expensive consumer experience to affordable experience.”    

Excited about the distribution partnership with the sports media company, Mr Mamadou Coulibaly, the CEO of Orange Liberia said: “ Our customers will be able to enjoy a whole new experience that Kwesé TV provides. We are happy to be the distributor of Kwesé TV satellite service in our shops alongside our mandate to provide access to these contents on our superfast 4G LTE mobile network."
