South Africa: March 31st Is Deadline Date To Receive Subsidised Set-Top Boxes

The South African Department of Communications (The DoC) has announced that Saturday 31st March 2018 is the deadline date for registration of citizens that are qualified to receive government subsidised digital set-top boxes in the Free State and North West provinces of South Africa.

According to the statement from The DoC said it is asking qualifying citizens to register for the government subsidised set-top boxes at the Post Office centre nearest to them.

The Doc says the commitment of the government is to migrate from analogue to digital television by June 2019.
