Nigeria: Government Plans Millions Of Dollars On Entertainment Infrastructure

The Nigerian Government have restated a commitment to invest in the country's burgeoning entertainment industry.

Making the statement during at the sidelines of the 4th All Africa Music Awards show in Lagos, Nigeria, the country's Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed said that there are plans afoot to invest millions of (US) dollars to boost Nigeria's entertainment industry further by building world-class infrastructure.

He stated that government is ready and willing to partner with private investors in this regards.

The benefits of making this forward investment are enormous, and the pay-back to the entire Nigerian economy can easily be quantified based on the job creation capability in the Creative industry while helping to boost other sectors as well.
