Guinea-Bissau Enters Partnership With StarTimes For DTT services

The Government of Guinea-Bissau has signed a partnership agreement with the pan-African Pay Tv provider, StarTimes, for the installation of DTT in the country.

According to the Guinean minister of Social Communication, Vitor Pereira, they had reached an advanced stage in the process, and the implementation of the DTT would be coordinated through a public-private partnership.

This would be followed by a reform of the media industry in training and equipment upgrade.
