South Africa: ICASA Holding Public Meetings For Free-To-Air TV And Radio Licenses

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) announced the dates and locations for its proposed series of public workshops with respect to the applications for "Individual Commercial Free-to-Air Television Broadcasting Service Licence(s) and Radio Frequency Spectrum Licence (Mux 3 Frequencies)."

ICASA has previously issued the "Invitation To Apply" notices that was published on the 28th February in the Government Gazette. According to ICASA's acting CEO, Rubben Mohlaloga, the 'open-to-the-public' industry workshops will take place across all the nine provinces in South Africa.
