Kenya Leads DTT Migration In Africa, Says President Of Startimes Group

President of StartTimes Group, Mr Pang Xinxing, has declared Kenya as the leading country regarding the transition from analogue to digital TV signal in Africa. He made the declaration at the ongoing African Digital TV Development Conference taking place in Beijing, China. StarTimes is the organiser and host the week-long summit.

According to the StartTimes chief, Kenya is among the first crop of countries to transition to DTT and should be emulated by others. The only other Sub-Saharan Africa countries to have 'properly completed' the switch-over process, according to StarTimes, are Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, and Mauritius.
