Vodacom Brings Back Digital Workshop Series For 4IR Success
Introduced last year, the Fast Forward Series aims to enable South African businesses to enter the industry with the appropriate tools, insights and skills to succeed in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
It also targets small, medium and large enterprises, global and public organisations, and offers industry workshops and trend updates.
According to a statement, this year, the series will extend into the Western Cape and digitally on Vodacom’s video-streaming platform, Videoplay.
Fatima Hassim, the Managing Executive at Vodacom Business, said that the series is designed to promote the growth of businesses and strategic decision-making in the rapidly changing environment for both large corporates as well as owners of small businesses.
The telco said that season two of the series would include enterprise roundtables that focus on the future of business and digital transformation, with industry experts sharing their insights on the technology landscape, challenges and opportunities that are provided by digital technology.
Hassim said that the Fourth Industrial Revolution had begun to shift the business landscape. She added that the challenges faced by businesses had increased at the same pace as their various competitors, so Vodacom’s objective is to provide a platform that addresses vital business challenges while also empowering entrepreneurs to develop strategies to succeed in today’s digital economy.
