StarTimes Adds Pineapple TV To Its Offering
Pineapple TV said that it would deliver fun, safe, quality Afro-Centric programming to its target audience of children, between the ages of 4 to 16 years of age as well as Mums and Dads.
The TV channel pledged to educate and entertain viewers in Nigeria, Africa and the diaspora by broadcasting shows that resonate with the target audience.
Pineapple TV’s content offering includes animations, history, cooking shows, career information, pre-school learning and short films.
Carl Raccah, the Managing Director of Pineapple TV, said that several off-screen initiatives would be advertised in early 2020 and that these would include theatre productions, sports initiatives and in-school events.
Since its debut, Pineapple TV had gained traction with brands that understood the unique communication opportunities that the channel offers, namely a safe and educational viewing space with plenty of high-quality productions, available to the audiences for 24 hours a day.
Yetunde Falade, Pineapple TV’s Head of Corporate Affairs announced that Pineapple TV would also be available in the UK from the 1st of December 2019 as part of Fame TV on Sky Channel 452.
