East Africa's Got Talent Now Airing In Tanzania, Kenya And Uganda
East Africa's Got Talent, a TV talent show competition which is a part of the Got Talent franchise that is owned by Simon Cowell, launched over the past weekend with a live broadcast at the Coca Cola headquarters.
The show is based on the global TV format, Got Talent and is made up of a variety of acts comprising of dancers, singers, stand-up comedians, gymnastic acts, and many other talents from people of all ages from all over East Africa. Each contestant who auditions is hopeful to secure a much sought-after spot in the live television finale by impressing the panel of celebrity judges and the viewers at home.
The debut episode was broadcast live simultaneously in four countries in East Africa on Kenya's Citizen TV, Tanzania's Clouds TV and NBS in Uganda.
Anyone who has watched the other editions of the show knows that the "Judge Cuts" rounds are usually the most difficult in the competition, and also where the merely "entertaining" acts are separated from the truly talented contenders.
East Africa's Got Talent will be broadcast every Sunday at 8 pm in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
