Openview To Air Live English Premier League Games In South Africa

South African football fans will be delighted to hear that Openview is expanding its content by offering live English Premier League games which will be broadcast on a weekly basis featuring one of the top six most popular Premier League clubs – Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur or Manchester City.

In addition to the live broadcasts of EPL matches, eMedia Investments, the parent company of Openview, eNCA and e.tv – has also acquired the rights to air many other entertaining football-related magazine programmes that are produced exclusively by the Premier League.

Antonio Lee, The Chief Operating Officer of eMedia Investments, commented on this latest development saying that it is a momentous addition for OpenView, and also for the free-to-air television-watching public as a whole.

He said that English Premier League soccer is the leading brand of sport in the free-to-air domain, and therefore, OpenView is excited to host it and deliver it to its audiences.

Lee added that eMedia would add its very own touch to the exclusive broadcasts, and hopefully in time, would be able to add even more sports offerings on to its bouquet to cater to the needs of those who follow other sports such as cricket, hockey and rugby.
