South Africa: M-Net Bags Rights For 'The Bachelor SA' Season Two

M-Net has acquired the rights to produce the second season of "The Bachelor South Africa", and audiences will join the show's new leading man on his exciting journey as he looks for love in February 2020.

Jason Greer will be back on the second season in his role as the hit show's cool, calm and collected host.

M-Net and the production house Rapid Blue have also officially kicked-off their search for the beautiful ladies who will be competing for the heart of the new Bachelor and chasing the possibility of finding their Prince Charming.

"The Bachelor" franchise has made quite a name for itself and has an impressive track record. More than 22 seasons of the reality show have been produced in the US, and its format has been licensed in over 30 countries.

The show follows one man's journey to find love. The chosen man then relies on Cupid to point him in the right direction as he gradually narrows down his options to get to his perfect match – who he will typically propose marriage to in the dramatic finale episode.

Sometimes things don't work out between the couple after the show stops filming but globally the format has seen many happy marriages and baby bumps.

South Africa and the ladies who will be participating in the show will know who the new Bachelor is before the filming of the second season kicks off.
