MultiChoice Tanzania Secures Rights To Broadcast 52 Live AFCON Matches On SuperSport

MultiChoice Tanzania, through its DStv pay-TV platform, has secured the rights to air 52 live Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) matches in high definitions through the various SuperSport Channels.

According to Jacqueline Woiso, the Managing Director of MultiChoice Tanzania, the leading pay-TV operator is set and ready to provide its subscribers with the live broadcast of all matches in HD and most importantly, all the matches will be available from the lowest tier bouquet – DStv Bomba at only US$8.

MultiChoice Tanzania’s Head of Marketing, Ronald Shelukindo announced that subscribers of DStv could also enjoy the games and other channels on-the-go by downloading the DStv Now app at no additional costs.

Shelukindo added that when MultiChoice says that it needs as many Tanzanians as possible to watch the tournament, it means it.

He said that with the DStv Now app being offered at no additional package fee, DStv subscribers are able to watch the games on their smartphone, tablet, laptop, or on your standard tv all at the same time.
