DStv’s Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) Launches Christian Lifestyle Talk Show, Zuri
The Christian-based Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) said that the new talk show’s target audience is "cosmopolitan Christian women". TBN explained that Zuri that is a Swahili word that means "beautiful", and that the whole point of the show is to remind African women of the beauty of holiness and the power that comes with having a strong Christian foundation.
Zuri will showcase interviews with popular personalities as well as share thought-provoking segments to support the promotion of personal growth and spiritual development.
Zuri will cover a wide variety of topics ranging from money matters and celibacy to adoption and many other issues that the creators of the show feel are practical and relevant to the modern Christian woman.
Loyiso Bala, the Channel Director at TBN, said that TBN is thrilled to have Ayanda join the TBN family as both a producer and a host of this exciting and much-needed show.
He added that Zuri formed part of TBN’s 2019 strategy which is to deliver quality content that is Afrocentric, original and thought-provoking.
Bala said that this collaboration with a 100% woman-owned media house shows TBN’s commitment to not only enhancing its viewership experience but to also create an excellent platform for underrated local filmmakers and entrepreneurs.
