Globacom Nigeria Maps Out Strategic Plans To Beat Competitors
These plans are also designed to hopefully enable the telecom operator to rival its numerous competitors.
Globacom’s top executives have explained that some innovations have been put in place by the company to transform the industry in 2019.
According to the executives, these innovations include, among other things, the utilisation of Artificial Intelligence to enhance Glo customers’ user experience.
Glo plans to launch an Artificial Intelligence platform which will interact directly with customers and help them with any kind of assistance that they need including assisting customers in selecting the right data plan and resolving other queries such as balance enquiries.
The service will be available on a 24-hour basis to Globacom subscribers.
Globacom hopes that its use of artificial intelligence for customer care will put it a few steps ahead in its battles with the likes of Airtel, 9mobile and MTN Nigeria for market dominance.
The company also recently let it be known that it would be spending several billions of naira on the development of its 4G network across Nigeria.
