MTN To Collaborate With Eseye To Meet Demands Of IoT Customers In Africa

MTN has announced that it has partnered with the Global IoT services provider Eseye and the new AnyNet Federation to meet the needs of IoT customers.

The AnyNet Federation wants to make the worldwide IoT landscape easier for AWS customers by installing a single cellular M2M solution that can be rolled out globally.

The companies said that by using AnyNet Secure for the AWS SIM card, AnyNet Federation customers would experience great connectivity that would integrate into the AWS IoT Core.
The companies added that the customer would be billed through their account by AWS regardless of whichever AnyNet Federation partner is providing the data, – and the network operator would still be paid for the services it delivers.

The CEO of Eseye, Nick Earle said that this global collaboration would be ground-breaking.
He said that the AnyNet Secure was already the most integrated and feature-rich connectivity solution for AWS.

Oliver Fortuin, MTN’s Group Enterprise Executive, said that MTN is thrilled to deliver their networks across 12 African markets to fully support the objectives of the AnyNet Federation. He added that MTN believes that through collaboration it will speed up the deployment of its customers’ global IoT and also boost global business opportunities.
