MultiChoice Rolls Out MyDStv Mobile App In Kenya
The new app is available now for download in Kenya via the iOS and Android app stores free of charge.
The Head of Digital Enablement for Multichoice Africa, Rajan Soobramoney said that in the ever-growing digital space, it is MultiChoice’s mission to a stay ahead of the game and continue to improve its customers’ lives by putting them first in everything it does. He said that this app had been designed with the subscribers in mind to give them an easy way to enjoy their video entertainment.
Soobramoney added that the new app would form part of the many digital platforms that are innovative and created to meet the ever-changing requirements and demands of MultiChoice’s valued subscribers.
Once the app has been downloaded, DStv subscribers can log in with their customer details from wherever they are.
The subscribers will then be able to pay and manage their DStv account and also see their payment history, change their DStv package, manage their notifications settings, fix decoder errors and update their contact details.
DStv subscribers will also be able to access the DStv Self-Service platform online by going on to selfservice.dstv.com.
Soobramoney concluded by noting that due to subscribers now being able to manage their accounts independently, MultiChoice expected to see a decrease in queues and queries at the various call-centres, thereby availing the customer-facing staff to provide improved one-on-one support to the subscribers who require assistance that isn’t offered by the app.
He added that MultiChoice’s goal is to offer an affordable, accessible and highly efficient platform for self-service to better the overall customer experience when doing business with DStv.
