Nigeria: MTN Introduces Partner Ecosystem To Deliver Efficient Enterprise Solutions
The Partner Summit was held on Thursday, November 8, at the Landmark Events Centre in Nigeria will be an annual event that will allow MTN Nigeria to bring together thought-leaders, key stakeholders, the public sector, small and medium enterprise owners and large enterprises to help create solutions that would improve the ICT ecosystem in the country.
The program's main aim is to change the way MTN services the Nigerian enterprise market and also to allow local and global partners the opportunity to become part of the MTN Business solutions offering.
The Chief Enterprise Business Officer of MTN Nigeria, Lynda Saint-Nwafor said that MTN is fully aware that it cannot possibly be an expert in every field in ICT; therefore, it firmly believes in joining forces with like-minded companies that happen to specialise in other areas.
According to Saint-Nwafor, MTN is building a diverse network of partners that share the same values and ethos in an effort to empower SMEs, promote efficiency in large enterprises and work hand-in-hand with the public sector to boost citizen involvement.
She added that Up to this point, MTN had been engaging partners on a case-by-case basis.
Saint-Nwafor declared that the partners either bring in the necessary technology and channels to collectively create new solutions or alternatively share their unique expertise and competencies to assist MTN with the development of solutions that will drive growth and increase the market reach.
This summit is set to provide MTN with an opportunity to bring their trusted and new partners together to share in their partner operating model and structure. The end-goal that MTN is hoping to achieve by doing this is to hopefully make it a lot easier for partners to work with MTN to create the future together.
MTN Nigeria’s ecosystem of partners consists of Capability, Technology and Channel Partners.
The Technology Partners are tasked with providing ICT and other complementary technology services and solutions.
Capability Partners provide complementary value chain competencies, while Channel Partners focus on the expansion of channels or market accessibility.
The MTN Partner Program initiative will be geared toward using the power of partnership to deliver the benefits of a new connected future to the end user.
