Turner Africa Teams Up With Greenworld Communications in Nigeria

Turner Africa was excited to announce a fantastic new partnership with Greenworld Communications in Nigeria. This partnership will allow Greenworld’s client’s access to advertising solutions on some of its great, high-quality channels operating across the continent, namely, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and newly launched TNT.

The Vice-President & CEO of Greenworld Communications Limited, Greg Anobili, said that the partnership broadens Greenworld’s multi-channel vision where advertisers can be provided with a variety of audiences over multiple platforms. Anobili added that Greenworld looks forward to working closely with brands on a mission to amplify advertising campaigns, improve ROI and to ensure that more clients are reached.

Turner is a WarnerMedia company that deals with entertainment, sports and new. The company consists of more than 180 channels and promotes 47 brands in 34 languages in over 200 countries. The Turner channels can be found on DSTV and terrestrial TV in Nigeria across various packages. Turner Africa provides the leading kid’s channels – Boomerang, Cartoon Network and the American blockbuster movie channel, TNT.

One of Turner’s key drivers is its unmatched reputation for creating premium content and delivering excellent experiences to fans whether the content is being received from on-air, on the ground or digital means.

The agreement has widened the reach of the Greenworld TV sales division into new categories being blockbusters movies and highly popular kid’s programming now reaches new audiences across the SEM spectrum. Greenworld offers Turner Africa exclusive television, integrated sales and a back-end team that has the experience to produce advertising and content that is cost-effective and attractive on the Turner channels.

Greg Anobili expressed that a significant partnership with one of the world’s most significant content providers and distributors would strengthen Greenworld’s offering to the market. He also declared that television was always an increasingly important part of our Greenworld’s strategy and now they would be able to offer clients a more extensive media choice that provides diverse content opportunities, and a larger number of viewers.

The VP of sales and Business Development – France and Africa, Guillaume Coffin,  said that the partnership with Greenworld was an essential move for TURNER’s developments and regional relevance in West Africa. He stated that Greenworld’s expertise, as well as its event-based knowledge of advertising, convinced Turner to join forces with them. Turner is confident that this alliance will help them bring more value to clients.
