iFlix Joins Forces With Vewd To Offer Entertainment Service

iFlix, the entertainment platform for emerging markets, will now be accessible on millions of Vewd enabled devices. The new development is because of the recently unveiled collaboration between Vewd and iflix.

iflix’s rapid growth has made it a necessity in the app catalogue of many smart TV manufacturers and pay TV services as it boasts over 15 million subscribers across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The entertainment platform teamed up with Vewd to certify the iflix app for the Vewd ecosystem. Certification means that the iflix app can now be installed across millions of connected set-top boxes and TVs without challenging technical assimilation.

Britt says that iflix’s partnership with Vewd is an essential step in ensuring that soon that aim will be achieved. He adds that Vewd’s ground-breaking technology and connected SMART TV ecosystem will allow iflix to merge with other platforms efficiently, while still continuing to offer users robust connectivity.

On the other hand,  Aneesh Rajaram, the CEO of Vewd, said that iflix had established itself as one of the world’s best subscription video-on-demand services. He declared that having iflix join the world’s most magnificent connected TV ecosystem further emphasises  Vewd’s commitment to providing the most diverse catalogue of key apps on connected TV devices. Rajaram stated that there was no time better than the present for Vewd to provide the sector’s most inclusive content offering for smart TV manufacturers and pay TV operators.
