Nigeria: Lawmakers Orders The 'Expulsion' of Samsung Chief Executive

Samsung Managing Director Mr Young Ho Jo has been expelled from Nigeria back to South Korea for entering the country without accurate documentation, it is being reported.

The Nigerian Senate ordered the removal of Mr Young Ho Jo, after the "unlawful act" of the  Samsung executive in Nigeria was brought about the inspection of his papers.

On his part, Mr Young Ho Jo, who has been working in the country for the past few months without the requisite legal requirements told sources that he couldn’t complete his documentation because of "a breakdown in the Nigerian government machines and systems".

However, the Senate said it did not recall any of the Nigerian agencies reporting any breakdown in their machines and systems, indicating perharps that Mr Young Ho Jo was flouting the law of the land.
