Ghanaians To Watch Russia 2018 Games On The Go On StarTimes App

StarTimes Ghana is offering Ghanaians the opportunity to enjoy the World Cup games anytime and anywhere by officially launching "ON SPORT" its App video streaming service ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

During the launch of the new service, the leading digital TV operator has announced that the first 30,000 people to use the app can enjoy an attractive Early Bird Promo.

Viewers on ON SPORT can have access to the entire live matches, interviews, analysis, full highlights, build-ups, and magazine shows that is available on the 5 StarTimes sports channels on the StarTimes “ON Sport” service.

Head of marketing, StarTimes Ghana, Akofa Djankui said: “It is practically impossible for any viewer with our App to miss any moment of the World Cup tournament. Viewers should take their minds off signal quality, weather conditions, electricity or location because, all that has been taken care of. What the viewer need is a steady internet connection and the StarTimes App will provide the full entertainment you deserve.”

According to Djankui, there are over 70 channels on the StarTimes App which provides relevant contents such as, news, sports, movies, documentaries, series, music and lots more. This app is currently open to all users without cost only for a limited time. She pointed out that payment for subscription can be made through all the available mobile money payment platforms and Slydepay.

The Head of Marketing at Startimes said:  "The original prices of the “ON Sport” service includes GHC 2.50 daily, GHC 10.00 for a week and GHC 25.00 for 38 days. These prices, however, have been discounted for the first 30, 000 subscribers as earlier stated to just GHC 1.50 for one day, GHC 6.00 for one week and GHC 7.00 for 38 days only."

The StarTimes App can be downloaded through various online platforms like Apple Store, Google Play, and on StarTimes websites.

The Chinese owned media company promises that all 64 games of Russia 2018 will be available in HD on the StarTimes decoder.
