Nigeria: StarTimes Introduces Video Streaming Service Ahead Of Russia 2018

One of Africa’s largest pay-TV service provider, StarTimes is launching a video streaming App which will enable Nigerians to Subscribe to "ON Sport" to watch all 64 World Cup matches Live and in HD.

 According to the company, from 7th to 13th June, the first 40,000 users can enjoy an attractive yet limited pre-order offer for watching World Cup on StarTimes App where they only need pay N450 (naira) instead of the original price of N1,500.

StarTimes OTT Operation Director, Tony Tuo, said "Live matches, build-ups, interviews, analysis, full highlights and magazine shows will also be available on the “ON Sport” service. It is impossible to miss any moment of the World Cup with our App. No worries about weather conditions, signal quality, electricity or not been at home. The SarTimes App will get fully entertained whenever wherever as long as you have a steady internet connection and the StarTimes.”

Tuo added that over 70 channels are offered to viewers on The StarTimes App so subscribers can watch movies, series, sports, documentaries, music, children programming and lots more. He disclosed that all the channels are currently open to all users for free for a limited time. So, Nigerians should take advantage of the juicy offer while it lasts.

The Chinese pay-tv provider said processes for Nigerians is now a lot easier as StarTimes customers can get to check and recharge their subscriptions online through StarTimes App.

In conclusion, the OTT Operations Director said: “Video streaming service is a future trend that StarTimes have embraced. We hope our services will pioneer Africa's digital TV industry.”
