360+ Applications Received To Fill Permanent Board Positions At the SABC

The South African's Parliamentary Communications Committee charged with processing and filling of the vacant board positions at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has announced that it has already received more than 360 legitimate applications from interested persons to be members of the organisation's board on a permanent basis.

The Parliamentary Communications Committee said that although the number of applications received was unexpectedly high, with more still expected, it is, however, commencing the process of shortlisting and interviewing of the candidate pool.

The SABC is expected to have a permanent board in place before the end of September 2017.
